Today’s age is the age of creativity and innovation. Our economy is gradually turning into the knowledge economy. In such economy information or knowledge would be a product. The invention of internet has spread the information revolution. Now it is clear that “Information is information not matter and energy”. On internet the information is in the form of websites or blogs. Blog is a webpage where a user can write any thing which he wants without any headache of its technical maintaince because it is technically maintained by the blogging service provider. Now the question is if information is a product and one has a blog full of information the how earning from blog would be possible?
A blog with good content is like a product. The content decides the limit up to which one can earn from the blog. Advertisement from different online advertisement agencies like adsense could be placed on the blog. When a reader visits the blog then due to advertisement some money would be generated. If you want earning from blog then carefully design it.
For the stand point of search engine optimization a good blog must be for the one keyword and that keyword must be in the URL of the blog. All the posts on the blog must have the same keywords at least twice. Set the heading of each post as the hyperlink to that post because such hyperlinks are easily readable for the search engines. When you have some posts and proper advertisement on the blog then you are ready for its marketing.
At start share your blog address with your friends on different communities like orkut, facebook, my space and technorti etc. Then post the link of blog on relevant online forums like yahoo answers and on social bookmaking services like del.icio etc. Then use some micro blogging services to spread the blog link like twitter, jaiku and friendfeed etc. Then write some articles about your blog and post those articles in some articles directories which has good ranking in the search engine like articlesbase, ezinearticles, examiner etc. The most important thing is that how a search engine knows that you have updated your blog by posting a new article. To tell the search engines about the blog updates you must use the ping services like pingomatic, articleping etc. Just ping with the title of post and the blog address.
If you follow all the instruction on regular basis then no doubt your blog will gradually turn into and earning blog. But be consistent for the earning from blog and regularly produce a good content fro you blog and regularly promote it then after the regular effort of few months you blog will get good rank.
